Still have a question?
Tell me about your project and I’ll get back to you with a clear, upfront price.
I charge by the job rather than by the hour. That way you get a clear, upfront price for the whole project with no surprises when the work is done.
Yes, I have a $200 minimum per job. If you’ve got a small task, it’s often worth bundling a few things together so the trip pays off and you knock out several items at once.
Yes, I’m fully licensed and insured in the state of Michigan.
I handle a wide range of carpentry and home repair work. That includes door installations, trim and finish work, installing faucets and light fixtures, mounting TVs and shelving, drywall patching, and general repairs around the house. If it’s a light repair or maintenance job, there’s a good chance I can take care of it.
Absolutely. Tackling multiple tasks in a single visit is one of the things I do best. Hand me your whole list and I’ll knock out as much as I can while I’m there.
No, I’ll typically bring the materials for you. I carry a range of sizes and products, and over the years I’ve learned which ones work best for different situations, so you get the right fit for the job.
It depends on my current schedule and the size of the project, but I can usually get out within a few days, or at most a week or so for bigger jobs.
It really depends on the job. Some small tasks are done in under an hour, while larger projects can take a full day or more. Once I understand the scope, I’ll give you a clear idea of the timeline upfront so you know what to expect.
Yes. I stand behind my work with a one-year warranty on workmanship, plus a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If something isn’t right, I’ll work with you to make it right. And since I’m fully insured, you’ve got nothing to worry about in the rare case something catastrophic happens.
Payment is due once the job is complete. I accept both check and credit card.
No, you don’t need to be home while I work. I do appreciate it if you can be around as I’m wrapping up, so we can walk through everything together and make sure you’re happy with the finished work. But it’s not required.
It depends on the size of the project. For small and medium jobs, I’ve got you covered. For larger remodels and major renovations, a general contractor is usually the better fit. I’ll always be upfront with you about whether a job is in my wheelhouse.
Absolutely. Cleaning up is a key part of finishing the job right. I’ll leave your space as tidy as I found it, if not tidier.
Yes. I regularly step in to repair and finish jobs that were left incomplete or done poorly by other contractors.
